Good ideas are common but executable good ideas are scarce.

Our program makes an effective patient-education and marketing initiative much easier to accomplish for your practice.

Prevention Education Program

The Practical PreventionSM education program consists of an ongoing series of ready-to-publish bulletins you can send to your patients. Each professionally written bulletin focuses on an important prevention and wellness topic and is written in an engaging style. For a list of topics we cover, please see the sidebar.

You can add notes (your own or those we suggest) to personalize the topics for your particular patients. A banner with branding from your practice provides the final visual touch and converts each bulletin into an effective marketing and communications tool for your office.

Best Uses

The bulletins come in an HTML format that you can provide to your patients in several effective ways:

E-newsletter  Paste our bulletins directly into your practice’s email newsletter. We also provide an introductory note or teaser that you can use as is or modify. After adding your office messages, send the completed e-newsletter to your patients. You and your staff can do the entire process completely in-house.

How to get started? Inexpensive internet mailing services are available to make email newsletter design and emailing quick and easy. And if you have questions about getting started, we’re here to help.  Email newsletter sample

Website  Publish our prevention bulletins on your secure patient portal or password-protected portion of your website. At the present time our program is not available for websites accessible by search engines.

Print Newsletter  Publish our bulletins on your practice letterhead along with your personal notes to create your own custom print newsletter. You can mail or handout the newsletters to patients who don’t have computers or email. To save postage,  combine two prevention bulletins together and mail just once a month.

Email Service We offer an email service to conveniently email the prevention bulletins directly to your patients for you. This is an excellent option if you do not have the time to prepare and send out the emails yourself. Email service sample

Frequency

We deliver the bulletins to you on a regular schedule twice a month. Research indicates that regular, brief prevention messages are most effective in changing patient behavior. Some practices prefer to send two bulletins together each month to patients.
